Oh yes, they are! A whole world was theirs.
I know you work with elders – I used to, too. I worked with a few couples who had been together a really long time, and even when one or both had dementia, the bond was still so strong. It’s great to see.
It encourages keeping in touch with family, loved ones, it’s like a lifeline in a huge sea. Until that time when it will not working anymore .
